Burnaby - Metrotown
Established in fall 2025, our Burnaby location is committed to providing an authentic Montessori education in a thoughtfully prepared and respectful environment.
We offer two Primary classrooms for children ages 3–6, led by passionate AMI trained Montessori teachers. Our educators understand that each child develops at their own pace and work thoughtfully to support their individual needs and interests.
The Montessori approach recognizes children as capable and curious learners. In our classrooms, children are given the freedom to make choices within a carefully prepared environment, while receiving guidance and support from their educators. Through daily work with Montessori materials and practical experiences, children develop independence, concentration, coordination, problem-solving skills, and confidence.
Our classrooms are intentionally prepared to encourage children to explore, make choices, and take increasing responsibility for their work and their environment. Montessori materials are introduced carefully and provide opportunities for children to build skills through hands-on learning and repetition.
Our guides observe the children closely and use these observations to determine when to introduce new materials, offer additional support, or provide greater challenge. This allows the environment and the curriculum to respond to the development of each child.
Above all, we believe children deserve to be treated with respect and given meaningful opportunities to become independent. Our goal is to provide a calm, purposeful environment where children can develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need as they grow.
The program hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Catered snacks and lunch are provided.
